I work from the Positive Psychology approach and utilize Strength-Based Therapy techniques to help you become happy and more fulfilled in your life and believe that each person has many internal strengths and resources that are waiting to be utilized.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) are other therapeutic approaches that I use during treatment. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, and those recovering from various types of trauma.
I am an LCSW who earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University in 1997, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude, before earning my Master of Social Work from Fordham University in 1998. I have been a therapist and Senior Director of Clinical Services for over 20 years.
